Transportation

By Air

The nearest airport from Dharamshala is Chandigarh and Delhi. Chandigarh is around 280 km from Dhamramshala, while Delhi is 530 km far. Delhi and Chandigarh are the international airport so that every person can reach easily to this place.

By Train

Train Journey is also possible at this route. You need to plan to Pathankot and then rest of 90 km is covered with the Bus and taxi. Pathankot railway station allows only few trains; those are going to Jammu and Kashmir. The major railways station neat to place is also Chandigarh.

By Bus and Taxi

Bus and Taxi are preferred transportation for everyone, if you are going to Dharamshala. This is preferred choice for most of the tourist because, in all other transportation, you need to take Bus or Taxi from a particular place. So, some of the people love to complete journey without any stop. Tourist can begin their journey from Delhi and Chandigarh with this transportation. Most of the people prefer the overnight journey to Dharamshala.
